In theory, there is a chance that Linux games released from 2024 onwards may have too high requirements to run on Steam Deck. There is an off-chance that a game can show up on this list while its Linux version is exclusive to non-Steam storefronts, due to current limitations with Cargo Drilldown. As a result, games with unconfirmed XInput status are excluded from the main list until further notice. There are conflicting claims on whether Steam Deck's buttons can emulate DirectInput controllers. The game is believed to have full or very high support for XInput controllers and/or Steam Input API, have support for touchscreens, and/or have voice control gameplay for the Steam Deck's integrated microphones. The game is currently purchaseable through Steam itself, and are intended to be run and played from within Steam. The game has native support for Linux x86 or 圆4, without having any need for Proton, Wine, source ports, ScummVM, DOSBox, or other wrappers.

This is an in-progress automated list aiming to list games that have the highest percentage probability of working out-of-the-box on Steam Deck.
